Our customers are people and businesses who make or receive payments from across the world.

You could be paying off tuition fees abroad or making mortgage payments on your holiday home, an entrepreneur selling wares to consumers through online marketplaces around the world or an SME importing or exporting, or paying salaries overseas.
Many of our customers are looking for better service, more flexibility and better value when it comes to currency transfers.

Q.3. How does your product help people?

No matter why you’re transferring money, World First’s fast, flexible currency solutions help you get more bang for your buck.

We take smaller margins than the banks so we can offer a better exchange rate when you transfer money worldwide. Plus, we charge absolutely no hidden fees!

For businesses who make regular international payments, we’ll find the right product and remove the hassle of currency transfers so business owners can focus on what they do best without having to worry about exchange rates.

Q.4. How does it work? (lets not get too technical here…)

You can set up an account with us a number of ways- downloading our easy to use app on IOS or Android, registering on our website or talking to one of our lovely team over the phone. We promise to answer within three rings and you’ll never have to deal with an automated machine. Registering with us is completely free and you’re under no obligations to use us once you do.

All our users will get a dedicated account manager to help them through the process, sorting out any additional issues e.g. opening international receiving accounts for online sellers’ or suggesting suitable currency products for businesses making regular payments. We give our clients expert advice and information about currency markets and come up with solutions and products tailored to their individual needs providing our clients with the peace of mind that their payments are being handled quickly, securely and transparently.

Q.5. What else can you tell us about it?

The World First story began in 2004, when two friends, Jonathan and Nick set the business up in a London basement flat with an ambition to revolutionise how currency transfers are done by putting people- our clients- at the centre of every transfer.

Since then, we've helped over 110,000 individuals and businesses move their money around the world and saved them lots of money whilst doing so. 12 years on, we’re a global business with offices in London, Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney, Washington DC and Austin (TX) and have won dozens of awards for our business and customer service.

Whilst recognition is great, our founders’ people-first mantra still remains our number one priority and we treat every client as if they were our only one. It's worked so far - 98% of our lovely clients we surveyed said they would use us again if the need arises!

Q.6. What does the future hold for World first?

World First is taking its people-first approach to currency transfers global. We have plans to launch in a number of new markets and we’re excited about helping more people and businesses around the world.
